CUPERTINO, CA—Apple, makers of the popular iPhone, announced late Tuesday their plans to phase out all non-Sudoku apps from their newly launched iTunes Apps Store. When asked about the announcement, Apple CEO Steve Jobs simple stated, “This is an exciting time for number nuts and Apple is excited to be a part of it.” With 20+ Sudoku Apps already available for download and many more on the way, Apple is quickly positioning themselves as the number 1 provider of number puzzles across the globe. While early indications suggest Wall Street loves the idea, it’s not something everyone is getting behind. Outside the Apple Retail Store in New York protesters gathered shouting, “Mahjong Right! Sudoku Wrong!.” Only time will tell if technology giant Apple made the right move. Until then, happing cell scanning.
