Mobile Web Wars: Can Anyone Stop the iPhone?
TechCrunch discusses the future of the mobile web.
In just about 15 minutes TechCrunch will hold its free form round table discussion on the mobile web. They’re calling it Mobile Web Wars and it’s sure to host a plethora of interesting comments and discussion about the future of mobile apps. The main topics of discussion will be centered around where we currently stand with regards to the mobile web. The panel includes many CEO’s of mobile app companies, most of which have apps available for the iphone. One interesting point up for conversation is that of the iPhone’s current dominance. Lot’s of people, including me, are interested to see how Apple handles their success. Will they create an open development environment or will they clamp down and Google play the role of the nice guy?
